Common Sense of Identification of Industrial Tires
1. Standards and characteristics of industrial tires
Although there is only a one-word difference between industrial tyres and engineering tires, many people are "silly and unclear", thinking that they are all tires of the same type and purpose, but this is actually wrong. Industrial tires and engineering tires have completely different design concepts. In simple terms, engineering tires are low-pressure tires.
Industrial tyres, also known as industrial vehicle tires, mainly include pneumatic tires and solid tires. We can understand that the basic structure of pneumatic tires is similar to our common tires, and there may be some changes in appearance, but they are similar;
Industrial tyres are mostly used for small forklift tires, battery car tires and small flatbed trailer tires in factories and warehouses; engineering tires are mostly used in the field of construction machinery, that is, our common construction machinery and some special construction machinery (large cranes, wheeled excavators, etc.).
2. Air pressure of industrial tires
When using twin tires, the pressure difference cannot exceed 0.5kg. When the pressure difference is 2kg, the tire with high air pressure is 75% of the normal life; the tire with low air pressure is 45% of the normal life.
3. Avoid the difference in the outer diameter of the twin tires of industrial tires----the gap between the multiple tires cannot be less than 13mm
When the outer diameter is 0.5mm, the wear is 105%, when the outer diameter is 10mm, the wear is 108%, and when the outer diameter is 15mm, the wear is 114%.
4. Rotating industrial tires
Normal transposition, when corrected to the best state, the comprehensive tire life can reach 122%. When the correct transposition is performed, the average single tire travels 49,700km; when the position is fixed, the average single tire travels 19,700km.
5. Industrial tires require standard rims
Use standard rims as much as possible, and avoid using rims that are repaired, deformed, or severely corroded. During the driving process of the standard rim, the large side of the rim is deformed and rolled according to the elliptical trajectory. The damage rate of the normal rim is not less than 6%. In addition, the tire maintenance cannot keep up with the extreme use, and the abnormal tire damage rate will increase. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent the use of non-standard rims that are repaired, deformed, and corroded.
6. Correct use of industrial tires
Correct road conditions, vehicle conditions, and working conditions require the correct product model.
